The sun cast a golden shimmer over the lake’s gentle ripples, while a warm breeze whispered through the reeds at the water’s edge. Dorota walked ahead, her laughter mingling with the rustling leaves, as Monty—our ever-curious shih tzu—paused to inspect every hidden corner, nose twitching at the scent of summer.The deeper we wandered along the shore, the quieter the world became, as though the forest itself were holding its breath.
